Is the CSP worth it?
Weigh the published salary gap against the published costs. BCSP lists a $494 application and exam combo, $350 for each further attempt, and a $185 annual renewal after you pass, plus your study time. The CSP is accredited by ANAB to the ISO/IEC 17024 personnel certification standard, and holders can be verified in BCSP's public directory. Whether it pays off for you depends on your role, employer and country.

- How much more does a CSP earn?

- Is the CSP worth it?
- On BCSP's published survey, CSP holders had a higher median base salary than both the overall group and the uncredentialed group. Set that against BCSP's published costs (a $494 application and exam combo and a $185 annual renewal) and your own study time. Survey medians are not a promise of any individual's pay.
- What is the CSP salary in Saudi Arabia or the UAE?
- BCSP's survey does not publish a median for individual Gulf countries, so SafePath does not quote one. It reports that 6% of employed respondents were located outside the U.S. and Canada, with a full-time median of $42,500 for that whole group.
